Basketry - Working in the Round Workshop

Course Code: ARTS2619

Learn the fundamental of constructing a simple round basket. Basketry is an ancient craft that's been practiced for thousands of years by people around the world, enabling them to use natural materials to make vessels for storage. In this course, students will learn how to form a base and add stakes to create their own basket. Two different weaves will be taught, a simple border and a handle weave. Willow colours will vary.
