Acrylics - Material Exploration & the Artistic Voice

Stimulate your subconscious creative spirit and access your unique artistic voice through the exploration of personal metaphor with acrylic paints and mediums! Make the creative process second nature by acquainting yourself with the diverse applications of the acrylics used in this course. You'll learn to work with acrylic glazes and washes, mixed media, acrylic skins, stencils, and immediate image transfer onto a variety of substrates. There will be an introduction to palette knives and their uses with textured acrylics, 21st century grisaille and iridescent and interference acrylics. Instruction is suitable for beginner to professional artists. There is something for everyone in the course!
A $50 material fee payable to the instructor will be needed on your first day of class
