The Strategic Plan 2019-2024 positions the College as an innovator in future program design and delivery, technology adoption, inclusive and highly integrated student and faculty, and innovative partnerships that will elevate Flemingâ€™s local, regional, and global profile and attract new students and faculty. To support its bold strategy, Fleming College is seeking an innovative leader to join its senior academic team. Reporting to the Vice President, Academic Experience, the Dean, Haliburton School of Art + Design and School of General Arts and Sciences is a key member of Fleming Collegeâ€™s senior academic team with extensive strategic, academic, infrastructure, stakeholder engagement, fiscal, human resources and health and safety accountabilities.
The Dean, Haliburton School of Art + Design and School of General Arts and Sciences will provide academic and administrative leadership and possess the skills to design and execute bold new initiatives that strengthen the Collegeâ€™s reputation. Ideally, they will possess teaching and academic experience at the postsecondary level, preferably in a unionized environment as well as considerable professional experience as an artist, designer or leader in the art and design disciplines. They will embrace activities, events, and campaigns that advance the business objectives of the College.
