PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

This program builds foundational leadership and management skills to prepare Nurses who are pursuing a career in management roles within health-care settings.

This new program is delivered online allowing you time to work while completing your coursework.

It includes 39 hours of online contact with professional experienced faculty who will guide you to learn the concepts behind Nursing Management.

Your professional training will include administration skills, strategic coaching & communication skills, creative problem solving & critical thinking skills and employment law with an emphasis on professionalism & person-centred care that is particularly sought after by employers in the health-care field.

Demand for Nurses in Management positions is increasing as a result of aging populations and employers are seeking Nurses who are effective leaders with strong skills and the ability to demonstrate effective decision making.

You will graduate, well prepared to enter a management position in:

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Open to RNs / RPNs in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), entitled to work and practice with no restrictions.

Participants also must be:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Residents of Ontario
