Tutoring Services

Learning support is available to all students who need assistance to reach their academic potential. Fleming students can access tutoring services at no additional cost. Most tutoring occurs in small group settings or on a drop-in basis. The majority of tutoring requests are filled each semester.

WC Online
WCOnline is an online scheduling system that allows students to book tutoring appointments online. WCOnline is currently being used at Sutherland Campus (Peterborough) to book appointments for selected courses.
Drop-in Tutoring
Drop-in times are available for students with quick questions in math, writing or computers. Drop-ins are staffed by tutors who are learning technologists, faculty, or graduates.
Success Strategies
These workshops assist students with topics such as study skills, test preparation, organizational skills, and time management.
Peer Tutoring
Small group tutoring is available for students having difficulties in a specific course. Peer tutors are current students who have successfully completed the course.
Job Opportunities
Students who have achieved 80% in any of their courses from a previous semester can apply to become a peer tutor.
