Murad Younis (Business-General '97)
In December 2010, Murad Younis HealthCare Inc. which includes Westmount Pharmacy and Seamless Care Drug Therapy was awarded accreditation through Accreditation Canada an organization that assists health care organizations from both private and public sectors in Canada to bring their healthcare services in line with the highest national standards of current practice. Usually awarded to large healthcare organizations, Westmount Pharmacy is the only pharmacy in Eastern Ontario to hold this accreditation. In addition Dr. Younis now has the distinction of being the only pharmacist in the world currently certified in four of the six specialties recognized by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS). This past October, he added the specialty of Oncology Pharmacy to the three others (Nutrition Support Pharmacy, Pharmacotherapy, and Psychiatric Pharmacy) that he previously held. Congratulations Murad!
