Part-time Summer and Fall Programs
If you can imagine it, we likely have it! Our summer program is a nationally acclaimed art experience. Create art in small classes, taught by some of the best artistic talent in the country. Choose from over 300 week-long courses and workshops for adults and kids, beginners and experts.
The Haliburton School of The Arts has provided summer art education programs since 1969 and this year we have an exciting blend of our students’ favourites and fresh new offerings.
The Haliburton campus is nestled in a lakeside park setting, surrounded by the Haliburton Sculpture Forest. The lakes, forests and rolling hills of the Highlands of Haliburton provide the perfect inspirational setting for an art school.
We also offer courses at OCAD University in Toronto, the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg, in Peterborough at our Sutherland Campus and at Bark Lake in Irondale Ontario.
Our adult, week-long credited courses can be applied toward completing the Visual and Creative Arts diploma, Generalist Option. Our summer courses for young artists are eligible for the Children’s Activity Tax Credit.
