Program Highlights

Virtually all companies, whether large corporations, small businesses, government agencies or non-profit organizations, have or need a presence on the Internet. The ability to create websites, to ensure that they are easy to navigate - and that they can readily be found through search engines -  is a critical asset to many businesses.
 
In the 8-month Internet Applications and Web Development Fundamentals program you will learn the fundamentals of consistent layout, client-side scripting, usability, markup and how to incorporate multimedia elements. In addition, you will have the flexibility to continue to advance  your programming skills by taking a second year of studies in the Internet Applications and Web Development program.

Minimum Admission Requirements

OSSD with the majority of credits at the Workplace (E) level, including English. When Workplace (E) is the minimum course level for admission, (C) and (U/C) courses are also accepted.

Mature Students

If you are 19 years of age or older before classes start, and you do not possess an OSSD, you can write the Canadian Adult Achievement Test to assess your eligibility for admission.

Additional Costs

Books approximately $1000 per year.
