Bachelor of Commerce Hospitality and Tourism Management

Graduates of the following programs with at least a 3.0 overall average are eligible to be considered for third semester entry to the Bachelor of Commerce Hospitality and Tourism Management degree program. Applicants are considered on an individual, case by case basis and may be required to take some courses from first and/or second semester.

  • Hospitality Administration - Hotel and Resort (formerly Hotel and Resort Management)
  • Tourism and Travel

Bachelor of Social Work

Eligibility for Pathway:

  • Graduation from a Social Service Worker Diploma (or equivalent) with at least a B / 3.0 average, and non-academic requirements as noted on Ryerson's website are required for admission consideration.
  • Completion of three, one-term, university liberal studies courses, one lower-level and two upper-level, with at least a C level grade in each course. First year/first level (lower level) Psychology, Politics or Sociology are not acceptable.
  • Completion of a prerequisite course, CVSW 015 Foundations of Social Work II with at least a B grade.
  • Only successful applicants will be pre-selected to take this course by Undergraduate Admissions in conjunction with The School of Social Work.
  • Liberal studies courses and employment prerequisites must be successfully completed prior to registration in CVSW 015. Applicants will be selected based on post-secondary academic performance and/or employment in the social service field.

Credit transfer:

Admitted students are given advanced standing to the third year of the program.

Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution

Students are required to complete all courses from the third and fourth year of the program.

Anticipated normal schedule of student progression:

Completion of the degree will take a minimum three years of part-time study though students are permitted a maximum of six years. This program is only available on a part-time basis.

Bachelor of Arts Early Childhood Education

Graduates of the Early Childhood Education program with a Grade B (70 percent, 3.0 GPA) average will be considered for admission into the third year of this degree program. You will also be required to complete additional courses prior to admission. This program is available on a full or a part-time study basis. Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management

Graduates of the following Business Administration diploma programs with a minimum cumulative average of B may apply for admission to this degree program. Ryerson University will accept graduates into the third year of the Business Management program. Students may complete the degree through full- or part-time evening studies by completing 22 courses in as little as four semesters combining day and part-time evening courses. You will also be required to complete additional courses prior to admission. This program is available on a full or a part-time study basis. Direct Entry Programs:

Graduates of other Fleming programs are eligible for direct entry, with the possibility of advance standing. Transfer credits are program specific. For details, refer to the Ontario College and University Transfer Guide.

Bachelor of Health Administration Health Services Management

Graduates of the Fleming three-year Nursing diploma program with a grade average of B or better will be considered for direct entry admission to this degree program. Candidates must have at least two years of professional experience in the health services field as well as documentation of professional registration/certification where applicable.
