Published

dsc_0153Cobourg, ON (Nov. 2, 2016) – Fleming College’s Cobourg Campus will once again be filled with the aromas of delicious soups and chilis during the 12th annual “Souper Bowl” Luncheon and Bake Sale on Wednesday, Nov. 9.

The event, a fundraiser for Northumberland United Way, will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For only $10, participants can enjoy a bottomless bowl of steaming hot soup or chili, a roll with butter, and a bottled water. The bake sale table will also be overflowing with treats.

Again this year, the Campus is partnering with the Help Centre and Community Living West Northumberland, Contact North and Global Human Resource Centre. The campus also receives support for the event with donations from the Dutch Oven in Cobourg, Ice River Springs, and Aramark.

Last year more than $1,800 was raised. This year’s fundraising goal is $1,750.

All are welcome to attend and help raise money for the United Way.
