Turku University of Applied Sciences signs student exchange agreement with Fleming College

Peterborough ON – (October 25, 2018) – Students from Fleming College’s School of Business have the opportunity to study in Finland under a new exchange agreement recently signed with Turku University of Applied Sciences (TUAS).

Up to five eligible students from each institution can take part in an exchange annually, and the students can spend up to one academic year at the partner institution.

The agreement applies to the Business Administration and Business Administration – Marketing programs at Fleming. At TUAS, the agreement applies to the Industrial Management and Engineering Bachelor of Engineering, and four Business Administration Bachelors of Business Administration – Professional Sales, Business Logistics, International Business, and Business.

“Opportunities to study abroad are enriching for our students, allowing them to experience different cultures and business practices and gain an international outlook, which is imperative in today’s connected, global economy,” said Maxine Mann, Dean of Fleming College’s School of Business and School of Trades and Technology. “We also look forward to receiving students from Turku University of Applied Sciences here at Fleming College. While they will be here to learn from us, we believe there is also much to learn from their perspective as they will further contribute to the diversity of voices in our classrooms.”
