Students put Paramedic skills to the test
Two Fleming College Paramedic teams placed in the top five at the National Paramedic Skills Competition on April 5. Competing in groups of two, the team of Elisha Kiers and Shawn Thomson placed third while the team of Caillie Clark West and Brenda Elliott placed fifth. The students placed ahead of 15 other college teams competing at the event, held in Durham Region.Faculty from the Paramedic program coached the teams and served as judges during the competition.
