See student talent in action at the Community Innovation Forum

Published

Fleming College, Trent University, the Trent Centre for Community-Based Education, and the Greater Peterborough Innovation Cluster are hosting the Community Innovation Forum (CIF) on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Peterborough Golf and Country Club.

The CIF is an initiative designed to provide talented and motivated students with visibility in the local business, government and not-for-profit sectors. It also seeks to forge partnerships in the local community that will help students find pathways to fulfilling careers. The four partner organizations are all dedicated to developing innovation and excellence in post-secondary students and supporting sustainable community economic development.

A key part of the CIF is the Knowledge and Talent in Action Showcase, featuring the applied projects of Fleming students in the School of Business, and the School of Trades and Technology. The students have been working all semester with real-world clients on their applied projects, and they are encouraged to embrace innovation and use it for the benefit of themselves, for their partner organizations and for the community at large.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
