Openings within Fleming’s Toddler Program

Fleming College’s Toddler Program currently has openings for its annual session, which will run in Peterborough in February and March 2009.The informative and enjoyable Toddler Program, offered within Fleming’s Early Childhood Education program, offers openings for infants and toddlers – aged 12 to 24 months – and their parents and/or caregivers. The Toddler Program runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays from February 3 until April 1. Parents can choose whether to attend the Tuesday morning eight week session or the Wednesday morning eight week session. Your infant or toddler can take part in fun, stimulating activities with other children while you attend interesting parenting workshops with other parents and caregivers next door. The program matches you and your child with a fourth semester student enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program. The student will oversee your child’s play and learning activities while you attend the workshop sessions. All program activities are organized and supervised by faculty members within the Early Childhood Education program.• Date: February 3 and 4 to March 31 and April 1• Time: 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. each Tuesday or Wednesday• Fee: $35 ($5 paid upon registration with remainder due by February 1)• Location: St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 566 Armour Rd. in Peterborough. Space is limited and is allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
