Peterborough, ON (Sept. 30, 2016) – Local high school students will visit Fleming College on Monday, Oct. 3 to learn more about the programs offered at Ontario colleges.

Up to 800 students from regional school boards will be at Sutherland Campus from 10 a.m. to noon for the College Information Program (CIP), an annual province-wide tour organized by Ontario’s 24 public colleges.

Along with Fleming faculty and staff, representatives from other colleges will be at the campus to provide information and answer questions from students. Tours of Sutherland Campus and the residence village will be available.

During CIP, the Picture Your Future event will also take place at Sutherland Campus. Hosted by Ontario’s colleges, Picture Your Future is a fun and interactive event that uses green-screen technology to allow students to have their photos taken in an array of career settings, such as policing, business, nursing, forestry, and more. Students are encouraged to learn about the careers available to college graduates.

More information on CIP can be found here. Additional details about Picture Your Future can be found at www.ontariocolleges.ca/news/picture-your-future. Students can also follow the tour on Twitter, using the hashtag #pictureyourfuturetour.

Fleming College will host another opportunity for prospective students to meet with faculty and learn more about the College’s programs and services on Saturday, Nov. 5. Fleming’s annual Fall Open House will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day at all campuses.
