Published

Fleming College President Dr. Tony Tilly has renewed his commitment to the college, agreeing to a further five-year term at Fleming. Dr. Tilly joined Fleming College in 2004.“Under President Tilly’s guidance, the college has made great strides forward. Ensuring student learning always takes first priority and improving services and facilities on campus are just a few of the ways the college has enhanced the overall learning experience of Fleming students,” said Murray Rodd, Chair of Fleming College’s Board of Governors. “The President has a positive vision that will position the college for future success.“It is a great pleasure to work with Dr. Tilly and we are wholly confident in his continued dedication to the college, higher education, and this community.”“I am proud of what we as a Fleming community have accomplished over the past four years – we have taken on a lot,” said Dr. Tilly. “We do have challenges, but we have remarkable strengths, particularly in terms of individual and collective commitment to the college and our students. These strengths are clearly reflected in our students’ and graduates’ appreciation of their experience at Fleming.“At this stage, my work is far from finished and I look forward to what the next five years will bring. It is a privilege to serve as President of Fleming and I appreciate the Board of Governors has expressed confidence in me to continue as president.”     – 30 -For more information:     Laura Copeland, Communications Officer, 705-749-5530 x 1370 or copeland@flemingc.on.ca
