Fleming College Farmers’ Market launching this week

Peterborough ON – (June 4, 2014) – All are welcome to come out and visit the new Fleming College Farmers’ Market this summer.

The Farmers’ Market will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every other Thursday, starting June 5 at the Sutherland Campus. The last Market day will be Aug. 14, 2014.

Vendors will be selling:

– Ontario-grown produce, syrup and honey

– Fair trade coffee, tea and chocolate

– Fresh-cut flowers

– Vegan and gluten-free baked goods

The Market will be set up in Parking Lot A – the lot closest to the main entrance at the Campus, 599 Brealey Dr., Peterborough. There will be free parking for community members in the lot next to the Market. Visitors can park for free in the pay and display spaces that are marked ‘reserved for special event.’
