now being accepted Haliburton School of Art + Design summer courses

Haliburton ON – (March 21, 2017) – An affordable, creative escape for individuals of all ages and skill levels is available in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands at Haliburton School of Art + Design, Fleming College.

World-renowned artists arrive in Haliburton every summer to mentor and teach in week-long and weekend courses in a wide variety of disciplines. Artists, vacationers, families and students alike can find an endless array of programming choice, from courses such as glassblowing, blacksmithing, ceramics, painting, photography, textile arts, dry stone walling, timber framing, and much more.

There are 70 new courses this year including:

  • Book Arts with Holly Dean
  • Copper Enamelling with Ben Glatt
  • Figurative Collage with Rosemary VanderBreggen
  • Folk Music with Katherine Wheatley
  • Leather with David Trotter
  • Mosaic Murals with Cristina Delago
  • Song writing with Rita Chiarelli
  • Creativity & Mindfulness with Lisa Schmidt & Kate Kitchen
  • Kids’ Beach Camp with Toni Calderone
  • Youth Stone Sculpting & Much More with Chaka Chikodzi
