Cooking in the International Kitchen

Peterborough ON – (November 10, 2014) – Fleming College is hosting a special event that will bring international and domestic students together to cook and share an international meal.

The International Kitchen is a collaboration between Fleming’s School of Business and International Student Services. It will take place on Monday, Nov. 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. in Fleming’s Culinary Lab and Fulford’s Restaurant at the Sutherland Campus.

Half of the 24 participants will be international students while the other half will be domestic students. They will be organized into groups to prepare meals from China, India and Brazil, learning some international cooking skills along the way.

Students in Fleming’s Project Management program are planning the event and students in the Culinary department are assisting with recipes and food preparation.
