Call for Presentations: forum on building community in long term care
Fleming College’s Institute for Healthy Aging (IHA), in partnership with St. Joseph’s at Fleming, will host a one-day forum on Monday, April 4.
Innovations in Aging Well: Building Community in Long Term Care will explore best practices and successes for moving long term care from an institutional model of care to a holistic one.

The deadline for presentation proposals is Feb. 21 at noon.
The forum will also feature keynote speaker Karl Samuelson, who is a senior policy analyst with the Canadian Healthcare Association and author of New Directions for Facility-Based Long Term Care (2009).
