Art show and sale at Haliburton Campus
A group of four women, who share a passion for making art, are hosting an art show and sale in the Great Hall of the Haliburton Campus of Fleming College from September 10 to October 10.Decadence: Four women painters revelling in a state of unrestrained self-indulgence celebrates the unique relationship the women share.Ulla Stenman, Anne Floegel, Jane Hamilton-Khaan, and Sally Yardley met at the Haliburton School of The Arts in 2005 while taking the Visual Arts Fundamentals program. The women, whose ages span four decades, still get together regularly to make art, share ideas, and critique each other’s work. The campus is open Monday and Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Thursday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed on Sundays).
