2010 Welcome Days at Fleming College

Fleming College will host over 700 new students next week at “Welcome Days” at its campuses in both Peterborough and Lindsay. From July 12 to 16, 9:30 a.m.to 3:30 p.m., students and their families will get a head-start on preparations for the September semester and take part in helpful sessions to prepare both new high school graduates and mature students for their studies at Fleming. Welcome Session 9:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. Room 519 Information Sessions 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.1) Transitions to College – For Parents of College Bound Students: Room 519•Helping Students Make the Transition to Fleming2) Strategies for Success Session: Room 374 •For Those Just Graduating from High School3) Strategies for Success Session: Room 5920 • For Those Who Completed High School Prior to 2008 or Who Are Returning to School from the WorkforceWalking Tours 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.• Guided Walking Tours of Residence Village and Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre Tours begin every hour at each location beginning at 11:30 am Visit www.flemingcollege.com/welcomedays for further details. Located in the heart of Central Ontario, Fleming College has campuses in Peterborough, Lindsay, Cobourg and Haliburton.
