Faculty Profile for Wendy Ladurantaye

Wendy Ladurantaye

Haliburton School of The Arts

Wendy Ladurantaye is a general fine arts graduate of Sheridan College and has been working in glass since 1981. Having studied under fine craftsmen Jim Schnick and Clark Guettel, she has been equally inspired by mentor Mary Intven Wallace as well as by her many successful students. Through the years of teaching, Wendy has developed strong problem-solving and positive, supportive teaching skills. While her commissioned glass can be found in cottages and homes locally, throughout Ontario, in the US, Australia, England and Germany, her favourites have been church windows installed in West Guilford and in St. Margaret's Church in Wilberforce, Ont. Wendy has received two writing awards, has been published in Liaisons and Liaisons II, and enjoys teaching journalling and memory keeping.
