Tanya Lyons

Haliburton School of The Arts

Tanya Lyons graduated with honours from the Sheridan College glass program. Her education also includes studying at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, Finland, The Atlin Art Centre in British Columbia, and the Toyama Institute of Glass Art in Japan. She taught part-time in the glass studio at Sheridan College for four years and was a resident at the Harbourfront Centre for three. Tanya also volunteered on the Board of Directors for the Glass Art Association of Canada. Her work, which she has received a number of awards and grants for, has been exhibited throughout North America, Finland and Japan. www.tanyalyons.ca
