Sylvia Naylor was educated in England where she later became a teacher specializing in textile crafts. She then studied City & Guilds of London Embroidery and Textiles. She was awarded a silver medal for the highest marks in the country in her year. Sylvia has taught workshops in Canada, the US and England. She has won numerous awards and has been featured in several publications. Recently she had articles in Quilting Arts [USA] and her work was featured in Inspiration published by Bernina, Switzerland. Her work has been shown in several publications to be published in the US in the last few years.
