Russ Parker has had a lifelong interest in woodworking that spans a variety of disciplines. In addition to teaching paddle making, he has made 2 kayaks, a rowing shell, carved Pacific Northwest Coast totem poles and masks, made traditional archery equipment including longbows, recurve bows, arrows and quivers, and built a house full of oak furniture in the mission style. Russ is also an amateur luthier and has made more than twenty guitars.
