Glenna Harris
Haliburton School of The Arts
Glenna Harris, having learned to knit as a child, became a true 'knitter' while studying for her PhD. It was a great form of stress relief and distraction. She finished the PhD and kept on knitting anyway. She has since become a knitting teacher and designer, producing knitting patterns for self-publication and for independent yarn dyers for over four years. She has a yarn stash with a life of its own, is never without a project no matter where she is and in fact, once cut a steek while riding a bus. She believes in challenging yourself and knitting without fear. Her patterns have been featured in Canadian Living Magazine, Knitty, Magknits, Twist Collective, Knitcircus and online through Ravelry and Patternfish. She has designed for Tanis Fiber Arts, Indigodragonfly Yarns, The Sweet Sheep, and others. http://crazyknittinglady.wordpress.com
