Fred Hummel works in various painting and printmaking media, but for more than twenty years made stone sculpture his form of expression. As an educator he administered an arts centre, working with children and adults of all ages. He has successfully participated in shows as well as national and international symposia. His experience as an athlete and as an international coach is reflected in his emphasis of expressive and fluid movement in his work.
