Elaine Quehl is an award-winning artist who specializes in colourful and intricately stitched art quilts. Her nature-themed works are recognizable for their depth and contrast, exuberant colour and abundant texture. Elaine's quilts have been juried into numerous national and international exhibits and have been widely published. In great demand as a teacher, she is recognized for her expertise in free-motion machine quilting, fabric dyeing, and many innovative techniques for creating original quilts. Also a skilled dyer, Elaine has been selling her hand-dyed fabrics across North America for many years. She is a Professional Member of Studio Art Quilt Associates. www.equarelle.ca
