David Hannan has been working as an art educator for over twenty years; twelve of those with the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. Since graduating from the Ontario College of Art, he has maintained a commitment to making and showing art. Some selected exhibitions include: ALLcreatures, a solo show at Gallery 101in Ottawa, DOUBLEcurve at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery and Traces of Colour, at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. Most recently David was part of Remix: New Modernities in a Post Indian World that opened at the Heard Museum in Phoenix Arizona, and travelled to The Museum for the North American Indian in New York City, and the Art Gallery of Ontario. His work is part of numerous public and private collections throughout Canada and internationally. Along with maintaining his art career he has continued to write, design/build and perform in a number of theatre shows throughout Canada, most recently O is for Ogre and The Friendly Rich Show. www.davidhannan.ca
