Brenda Wainman Goulet

Brenda Wainman Goulet is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design and has been sculpting for over 25 years. Her early years were spent in Algonquin Provincial Park and much of her sculpture reflects those roots. She has been acclaimed for her bronze on stone landscapes as well as whimsical figures. Recently she has received international attention for her life size statue of Dr. Norman Bethune and twice life size bust of nurse Rene Caisse (Essiac founder). Public art commissions include the first life size statue of the famous Canadian painter, Tom Thomson (Huntsville), a bust of Tom Thomson (Owen Sound), a statue of Ontario's first Lieutenant Governor's wife, Elizabeth Gwillim Simcoe (Bradford), and Aurora (Bracebridge). www.brendawainmangoulet.ca
