Bethany Houghton is a music teacher with more than 15 years experience. She has completed an apprenticeship in Luthierie with fellow Haliburton School of The Arts instructor, Philip Davis, and plays five stringed instruments (cello, violin, viola, mandolin and banjo). Her forte is the cello, since she has been playing it since the age of four. She studied with Zdeneck Konicek of the Prague String Quartet and played with the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra. Bethany has released a CD with "Cass Marie and the Blackfeather Band", and also plays other tracks on locally produced CD's. www.stringstudioworkshop.ca
