Employers are looking for employees who possess strong analytical skills and good written and oral communication skills. The first step in applying these skills is in the job search process. Understanding how problems can be solved will be transferred to the job search, report writing and oral communication components of the course. The appropriate documentation and research required to execute an effective job search strategy will be created in this course. Report-writing skills involving detailed problem solving will be applied in this course. As employees advance in their careers, the ability to produce a well-documented, complete and concise report becomes increasingly important. Finally, the ability to speak confidently about a variety of topics to various group sizes is of crucial importance.
