Course Number: ARTS1076
The Group of Seven is a primary element in Canada's art history and the works continue to resonate today. Combining theory with on-site painting, this course examines the use of painting systems as practiced by members of the Group of Seven. Of particular note will be examining changes introduced after 1913, resulting from A.Y. Jackson's exposure to developments in France. You are welcome to work in the medium of your choice.
