Stone Carving - Advanced

Please note: This course is not suitable for beginners. You must be able to carry stone weighing up to 30 lbs.
This course will explore and address specific issues and challenges related to advanced stone carving. Discussions and hands-on course content will include such carving techniques as drapery, hair textures, and facial features. Investigate light and shadow using various textural techniques to address contour, depth and tone through shading. A selection of stone will be available for purchase on site.
