For many artists sketchbooks are fundamental to their practice; ideas, images, writing, gathering, cutting, sticking, and research all take place in them. Instruction will enable you to use many ways of recording the world around you with a wide variety of media. The sketchbook can function as a reference, a record, and/or a work of art in itself.
