Learn basic forming techniques through traditional silversmithing methods of sinking and raising. Instruction will enable you to raise a 6" silver disk into a shallow bowl form. You will be required to bring your own silver; source information is available upon registration. It is recommended that you work in silver (this course requires a 6" x 6" x .75 mm thick piece of sheet sterling). If preferred, copper could be substituted to decrease expense.
