Managing vast amounts of information is both time consuming and limiting when processed manually. Project software which substantially increases the information processing capability of the Project Manager, allows work to be completed more efficiently. By learning to use a typical project management software program (MS Project 2003 and 2007) the student becomes familiar with functions of project planning and scheduling, resource allocation and costing, progress monitoring and reporting.
