This studio course in safe, non-toxic and environment-considerate practise in oils, is designed to engage you in the fundamental aspects of painting. Specific issues that form the language of painting will be explored. These will include spatial structure, mark-making, colour, shape, form, scale, texture, and surface relationships. Learning traditional and contemporary handling of oil paint, and with individual instruction, you will develop confidence in your own painting ability. This course is suitable to all skill levels from beginner to advanced. You are invited to work with oil paint in an environment that encourages individual freedom and expression.
