Please note: Some skill on an instrument and the ability to read music will be helpful but is not necessary.
Instruments, voices and percussion will blend in this exploration of individual musical personalities. We carry within ourselves a feeling for special sounds that resonate with us. Sometimes there is a moment of recognition when we hear music and there is an immediate connection on a deep level. A sound heard in childhood can have the power to transport the listener through time. Enjoy individual and group listening and improvisation experiences designed to help you understand and connect with your musical source. Gain a better understanding of your own musical personality and some insight into where you should go next with your music.
