Please note: This course is not suitable for beginners. This comprehensive course is intended to extend previous training or experience in drawing from the model. Take this opportunity to fill the gaps in your previous learning experiences. Instruction in gesture, contour and shading techniques is included as well as methods of dealing with foreshortening, perspective in the figure, anatomy, portraiture, use of media and other issues to arise in the process. You will be encouraged to develop individual creativity and self-expression as you explore the exhibition, meaning, content, context, intention, format, complexity, design and composition of life drawings.
