Guitar Basics Workshop

In just one day, you will gain the basic skills you need for a lifetime of music making on the guitar. After being introduced to the guitar and its parts, you will learn your first chords, try them out on several songs, and explore several different accompaniment styles. Learn how to stay relaxed and comfortable as you play, and explore some practice techniques that you can take away with you. By the end of the workshop, you'll be able to accompany hundreds of folk, pop, country, blues and rock songs. No previous experience is necessary but you will be required to provide your own guitar.
