Explore the inherent qualities of both the figure and the landscape, and the narrative developed between them when incorporated into a work of art. Consistent with traditional studio practice, and with respect to the genre?s usage throughout history, you will delve into time-honoured drawing and oil painting techniques in studying the figure and the landscape each in their own right, and composing them into a single work of art that tells a story.
