This course is an elective credit toward Fleming College's Expressive Arts Certificate. It is not an elective credit toward Fleming College's Visual and Creative Arts Diploma. Combine polishing your art making knowledge and skills with effective application of that knowledge to the populations you work with. Instruction will demystify the myriad of new art supplies on the market as you experiment with their properties, applications and suitability. Unusual art making processes such as papermaking, beeswax dipping and simple fabric/fibre art as well as the use of photographs will be explored in the context of incorporating them into your expressive arts work. Sharing your experiences in the field will be strongly encouraged.
