Course Number: ARTS0365
This course is a recycler's dream! No previous experience is necessary and individual skill levels will be accommodated. You will learn the preparation of wool coats, garments, and yardage for transformation into useable yarns. Techniques learned will produce thick, finished floor mats or sets of chairpads without sewing together rounds as in traditional braided rugs. This is a hand-manipulated method done on simple braiding looms. Colour and design exercises will produce balanced creative products. As a returning student you are welcome to advance your ideas and goals.
