Course Number: ARTS1614
Learn and develop bird carving, texturing and painting techniques. While much of the carving will be done with power carving tools, instruction will be available if you prefer to work with a knife for general shaping. Feather detailing will be accomplished with power and wood burning tools. Instruction in applying acrylic paints will enable you to render the plumage and unique markings of the project bird. Instruction is suited for beginners and will provide interesting opportunities for intermediate and advanced carvers as well.
