Bring your jewellery designs to life using Art Clay Silver/Gold, a medium that moulds like clay and fires to 99.9% pure Silver or 24K Gold. You can manipulate the medium into virtually any shape you desire. Instruction will address various techniques such as: Filigree (syringe type), burnout methods, applique, hollow forming, carving, attaching findings, layered leaf technique, setting synthetic stones, firing, and polishing. With these techniques you will design four projects of your choice. Some possibilities are rings, pendants, earrings, pins, or a non-wearable art piece. Techniques such as Keum Bu, and methods utilizing resins and Vitrea 160 paint for enamelling will also be addressed.
